Our guest speaker, Bob Barad, has worked for the United Nations’
World Food Program — winner of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize
— for more than 17 years. Most recently Since June 2019 he has
been the agency’s head of partnerships in Nigeria. Rather than
ask someone to host this event in their home, this and other
Havdalah gatherings this year will be held at neutral locations —
most likely a Rolling Hills meeting room.
