High Holidays

We approach the Days of Awe, the High Holy Days: Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur with a mixture of anticipation and solemnity.

The 10-day period, beginning with Rosh HaShanah and ending with Yom Kippur, is a time of reflection, prayer and participation in our committed community of worshippers.

In addition to evening services for both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur/ Kol Nidre, we have a Selichot service, a Tashlich service, a class on a current topic, and speakers.

All are welcome. If you are not a member, continually supporting Temple Israel, please let us know that you are coming, introduce yourselves , and honor yourself by contributing $100 per adult attending any and all services for this year’s High Holy Days. You may do this on the website, specifically as Visitor for High Holy Days.

If you have questions or want more information about attending High Holidays at Temple Israel, please contact us.
